Calories, recommended daily intake is wrong?!

What a joke! UK government scientific advisers are now admitting their recommended Calories daily intake for the last 18 years may have been wrong... see this bbc article... http://news.bbc.co.uk
These published recommended figures are all about what they think an average person should eat... Thing is very few people are actually average!
What is ironic, is that UK government policy towards dictating strategy and policy on promoting "health diets" is based on these and similar recommendations...
Just proves again, you can't rely on governments to dictate life style.
I just read a new book called "Balance and Re-Balance, Lost & How to Find IT" that talks about balance 'as the title suggests'. It is a new book being published by Forays-Media. You can find it at http://www.forays-media.com/. This book really has some very interesting things to say about diet and life style amongst other things. I highly recommend you read it and make up your own mind.
